Seattle native Mike Bergman worked as a transit planner for King County Metro for more than 35 years.  He is president of the National Railway Historical Society's Tacoma chapter and volunteers at the Pacific Northwest Railroad archive in Burien, where he has organized the Archive's large collecgtion of historic streetcar photos and documents.

Merilee Linn Blaine will talk about the contributions of Seattle Pioneers David Edward Blaine and Catharine Paine Blaine.  The Blaines arrived in 1852 and became Seattle's first Missionaries, Minister, Schoolteacher and women's rights activists.  The Blaine letters and manuscripts are considered Seattle's largest and most detailed contemporaneous account of Seattle from 1852-1856 and endure as a source for researchers interested in early Seattle history.
